About
Charter, the way it
should feel
Our story
Onyx Collection began with a simple frustration: chartering a yacht was either an impersonal booking-engine experience or an opaque brokerage process built for superyacht owners. Nothing in between felt right for people who simply wanted a beautiful boat, honest pricing and someone capable on the other end of the phone.
So we built it. A tight collection of motor yachts, sailing yachts and catamarans across eight destinations we know personally — from our home waters on the Solent to the Cyclades. Every vessel is vetted in person, every itinerary is shaped by someone who has sailed it, and every enquiry is answered by a human within 24 hours.
We stay small on purpose. Curation is the whole point — eight destinations done properly, rather than eighty done from a database.

What we stand for
Three things we won't compromise on
Curation over catalogue
We list fewer yachts than anyone else in our class — deliberately. Every vessel in the collection has been visited, every crew met, every owner vetted. If we wouldn't put our own family aboard, it isn't listed.
Honest advice
Sometimes the right answer is a smaller boat, a different island, or a different month entirely. We'd rather lose a booking than recommend the wrong charter. Our clients come back because the advice is straight.
