Film & production
Exceptional yachts for film & production
Yachts and boats for film, television, campaigns and photographic shoots, sourced around your creative brief with an understanding of what it takes to work on the water.
Yachts
The right yacht for your story
From a striking motor yacht to a classic silhouette or a smaller boat for a particular scene, Onyx Collection helps source vessels that suit the look and feel of your production.
Whether the yacht is the setting, the backdrop or part of the action, we work with your brief to explore suitable options and liaise with owners and operators on filming arrangements.
- Film & television
- Advertising & brand campaigns
- Fashion & editorial photography
- Music videos
A selection of yachts we can explore for your brief. Filming suitability, owner approval and availability are confirmed individually.
On set
An understanding of life on set
Onyx Collection's approach is informed by Oliver Titcomb's background in superyachts and marine operations, together with his first-hand experience working on set.
We understand the importance of production schedules, radio communications, on-set etiquette and coordination with the wider production team. Alongside the yacht's appearance, we consider the practical questions: access for cast, crew and equipment, space on board, location and how the vessel will be used during filming.
Support
The arrangements around the yacht
We provide one point of contact for vessel sourcing, owner liaison and the marine arrangements agreed for your shoot.
Where required, we can also help arrange:
- Safety boats and water safety crew.
- Supporting boats for transfers and production logistics.
- On-location support to help coordinate the agreed marine arrangements.
Supporting services and on-location attendance are scoped and quoted individually, with suitable delivery partners and responsibilities confirmed for each production.
Additional requirements, including helicopters, can also be explored through specialist partners.
