UK Yacht Charter Management
Your yacht. Professionally managed for charter.
Charter your yacht with Onyx Collection, and keep the days you want aboard for yourself. We look after the marketing, the enquiries, the bookings, the crew and the care of the boat.
Owners
A charter arrangement built around you
You might want a handful of charters, or you might want the yacht out more often through the season. We start by talking about the boat, where it is based, and how you like to use it.
You choose the availability. We take bookings around the dates you set aside. Before you commit, we explain the fees and who is responsible for what.
If your yacht is based further afield, including the Mediterranean, see our yacht charter management page.

Southampton, planning the dates, and a guest coming aboard.
Preparation
Preparing your yacht for charter
Your yacht does not need to be coded before you get in touch. If it is not yet set up for paying guests, we can help you prepare it.
We work with surveyors and specialists on commercial coding, the right safety equipment and suitable insurance, and we keep you involved as it comes together.
Bookings
Marketing and managing bookings
Once the yacht can take guests, we look after how it is offered and how the bookings are made.
- Writing the listing and arranging photographs of the yacht.
- Advising on what to charge, and how to present the yacht.
- Replying to enquiries and speaking with guests.
- Handling the booking, the agreement and the payment.
- Keeping the dates you want for yourself.
You tell us which dates are yours. We do not offer the yacht on those days.
On the water
Practical support on the water
There is a practical side to every charter, and we can take care of it.
- Finding a skipper and crew.
- Cleaning and preparing the yacht for guests.
- Meeting guests and handing the yacht over.
- Arranging servicing and maintenance.
- Checking the yacht between charters.
You decide how much of this you want us to do, from a skipper for the week to the servicing between trips.
Experience
Experience behind the service
Oliver Titcomb has worked aboard superyachts and managed a UK boat-club fleet. He has briefed crews, planned maintenance and kept boats presented properly for the people coming aboard.
He uses that experience to help owners charter their yacht with the same care, and still use it themselves when they want to.

The process
How it works
- 01
Tell us about your yacht.
The boat, where it is based, and whether you already take charter guests.
- 02
Talk through a plan.
What the yacht needs, which dates you want to keep, and what the fees will be.
- 03
Prepare, then take bookings.
Once you are happy to proceed, we get the yacht ready and look after the enquiries.
Questions
Good to know
Can I still use my yacht?
Absolutely. It’s your yacht, and you decide when to enjoy it yourself and when to make it available to charter guests. We manage bookings around the availability you choose.
Does my yacht need to be coded already?
No. We can help you prepare your yacht for charter, working with surveyors and specialists to coordinate commercial coding, safety equipment and appropriate insurance.
Where do you offer support?
We focus on the Solent and South Coast, and can also assist owners elsewhere in the UK and overseas, including the Mediterranean. Tell us where your yacht is based and we’ll discuss how we can help.
Can you help arrange crew and maintenance?
Yes. From finding a skipper to organising cleaning, servicing and maintenance, we can help look after the practical side. We’ll discuss what you’d like us to handle and put the arrangements in place.
What does charter management cost?
That depends on your yacht and how much support you’d like. We’ll talk through your requirements and explain our fees and any additional costs before you decide to go ahead.
How much could I earn from chartering my yacht?
This depends on your yacht, where it’s based and when you make it available. We’ll help you explore suitable charter rates and likely demand, alongside the running costs, so you have a realistic picture of what you could earn before deciding to go ahead.
